Stress Relief (压力)

This range centres on Xiao Yao Wan (Free and Easy Wanderer), probably the single most requested formula in the shop, and the herbs that surround it in the classical tradition — chai hu (bupleurum), he huan hua (albizia flower), fu ling (poria). Twelve of the concentrated Black Pearl formulas sit here, alongside Tongrentang teas and a few ready-made supplements.

Traditional use

Chinese medicine describes this territory as Liver qi stagnation, and regards it as closely bound up with sleep and to the menstrual cycle — which is why you will see the same formulas appear in our sleep and female health ranges. That overlap is deliberate, not duplication.

Xiao Yao Wan comes in several versions, including a modified jia wei formulation. If you are unsure which one a practitioner meant, send us the slip and we will identify it.
